The new Children’s Education and Care qualifications are now approved!

Catapult Smallprint have been busy working to develop the units for the highly awaited new qualifications, now endorsed and released on training.gov.au.

The first in line for release at Catapult Smallprint, and available now, is CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

We will keep you updated with the availability of units and qualifications as we complete them.

In other big news, ASQA has approved the transition period for the new Early Childhood Education and Care qualifications from 12 to 18 months! This provides RTOs with an additional six months, until 20th January 2023, to support students who commenced their studies under the old curriculum to finish before the new curriculum commences. The qualifications will remain on RTOs scope of registration until the end of the extended transition period unless the RTO chooses to withdraw it from scope prior.

Catapult Smallprint are currently developing these new qualifications, in hard copy and online, with many resources now ready for delivery.
